Transferable warranty

Even if your car changes hands, our care continues.

When you sell your car, our warranty transfer brings the new buyer into our support process too. We stand behind our product and behind the customer who had their car covered.

Our message to the new owner

“Your warranty continues. If you need any support, we would be delighted to welcome you at Royal Class.”

  1. Warranty transfer

When the car is sold, the warranty is passed to the new owner through a transfer.

  2. New owner registration

The warranty transfer is carried out within the existing record and its terms.

  3. A welcome from our call centre

We call the new buyer, let them know their warranty continues and invite them in for support.

The scope of the transfer and the terms of application are assessed through the relevant warranty record.

Warranty and care

Protection is completed by the right care.

Your warranty document explains the situations it covers and your care responsibilities. If you have a question, you can get in touch with Royal Class.

Covered in your warranty document

  • Material defects arising from manufacturing.
  • Corner bubbles and corner lifting caused by installation errors.
  • UV-related colour fading in normal use, under the terms of the document.

Listed as not covered

  • Physical damage caused by accidents, impacts, scratches and external factors.
  • Damage caused by abrasive chemicals, solvents and the wrong cleaning products.
  • Damage arising from not following the care instructions.

Four basics of everyday care

Gentle washing
Use a soft wash mitt; avoid hard brushes and abrasives.
The right cleaner
Choose pH-neutral cleaners suitable for the film.
Care with pressure washers
Keep at least the 30 cm distance stated in the document; do not spray water at sharp angles.
Soft drying
Dry with a clean microfibre cloth, without pressing too hard.

This section is a summary of the shared Warranty Document and Care Instructions. The detailed coverage, assessment and care conditions are set out in the document you receive at handover. PPF is not a promise that the car cannot be damaged by any external factor.
